Following a dramatic 23-17 overtime victory over Clemson, Florida State remained atop both major polls on Sunday.
The top 5 in both polls remained unchanged. In the AP Poll, Florida State was followed by Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn. Each of the other four teams also received scares this week.
FSU remained on top, but lost 14 first place votes in the Amway Coaches Poll. The Seminoles still managed to capture 36 of a possible 62.
Behind Florida State in the Coaches Poll are Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon and Auburn.
With Florida State’s victory over the Clemson, the Tigers dropped to 1-2 and out of the polls. The Seminoles are the only ACC ranked in the AP Poll. Duke went from among the unranked to 23rd in the Coaches Poll.
The Seminoles will take on N.C. State at 3:30 P.M. eastern time on Saturday.
