With only two promotions in North Texas under their belt, Steele Cage MMA is looking to establish themselves as one of the premier MMA promotions in the state. Fight junkies who attended their first two promotions undoubtedly walked away from the Dr Pepper Arena amped at the energy produced by not only the fights, but the atmosphere of the events as well. On August 6, Steele Cage MMA returns to their familiar haunt of the Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco, Texas, to put on inarguably their biggest, most ambitious show to date.
Steele Cage MMA Presents: Steele Cage 3 will be a nine bout fight card with special guest Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, without a doubt, the sport’s most famous athlete. Liddell will be on hand to meet and greet with the fans at the show. In addition to his presence at the fight, a special tribute will be displayed for this pioneer of modern day mixed martial arts.
In addition to the chance of meeting Liddell, ticket holders will be in store for an exciting night of fights. While the fight card has yet to be formally announced, the main event of the evening is signed and will feature local fan favorite Joe “Jistsu” Christopher taking on Joey “The Takedown Wizard” Gorcynski for the Steele Cage 170 lbs championship title.
Tickets are not only on sale now, but ticket holders will be privy to a two hour meet and greet prior to the event. VIP ticket holders will also get the privileged access to the official after party taking place in the Dr Pepper Arena lounge where Liddell will also be making an appearance.
