Black Gloves Promotions Returns July 17
Black Gloves Promotions, one of Dallas’ most active boxing promoters, will put on another night of fights Saturday July 17. Unique to this card will be Black Glove Promotions leaving their usual haunt of Gilley’s in downtown Dallas. Instead, Black Gloves Promotions will bring live professional boxing to the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard as the card will take place at The Harbor in Rockwall.
Details of the fight card have yet to be announced though all-action slugger Rafael Casias has announced that he will be fighting at the event.

Christopher Jones and Tony Mack to Box under Boston Franchise at World Series of Boxing
As we detailed before here, Dallas amateur standouts Tony Mack (Champion Enterprise Gym) and Christopher Jones (Texas Select Boxing Club) have been offered the unique opportunity to box in the International Boxing Association (AIBA) sponsored World Series of Boxing (WSB).
Jones and Mack have been selected to box under the Boston franchise headed by Coach Anthony Bradley. Both boxers will be signed to contracts, relocated to their new cities and trained with their teammates. Matches begin in November and continue thru March. A playoff and championship will take place in April thru May.
Houston’s Eric Fowler has also been chosen to represent in the WSB and will box under the Los Angeles franchise.
Other cities to host WSB franchises include Mexico City, Miami, Astana, Milan, Beijing, Paris, Moscow, Istanbul, Baku, and Dehli.
