Prangley Extends Jardine Losing Streak to Five at Shark Fights 13

Official results from Saturday night’s Shark Fights 13 from the Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum in Amarillo, Texas.

Trevor Prangley (23-6-1) handed UFC veteran Keith Jardine (15-9-1) his fifth consecutive loss with a closely fought three round split decision victory in the night’s main event. 

In the night’s co-featured light heavyweight bout, former UFC veteran Houston Alexander (11-6) rallied back from some perilous early moments to knockout fellow UFC vet Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (9-7) in the second round. The time of the stoppage was 1:31 in round two.

Undercard Results

Exiled UFC fighter Paul Daley (25-9-2) surprised many with an unexpected tactical battle to earn a three round unanimous win over American Top Team fighters Jorge Masvidal (20-6).  Scores were 30-27, 29-28, 29-28.

Late replacement Danillo Villefort (12-3) scored a three-round unanimous decision over Joey Villasenor (22-8).  Scores were 30-27 on all three cards.

Paul Bradley (13-2) scored a first round rear naked choke submission over John Reese (12-3).  Official time of the submission was 4:28 in the opening round.

Tarec Saffiedine (10-2) scored a three round unanimous decision over Brock Larson (32-5).  Scores were 30-27 on all three cards.

Ronnie Mann (19-2-1) gutted out a five-round split decision over Douglas Evans (10-8) in the second defense of his Shark Fights featherweight champion title.  Scores were 48-47, 48-47, and 47-48.

Aaron Rosa (15-3) scored a three-round unanimous decision over Devin Cole (14-7-1).  Scores were 29-28 on all three cards.

Daniel Straus (13-3) scored a three round unanimous decision over WEC veteran Karen Darabedyan (9-4).  Scores were 30-27 on all three cards.

Eric “Big Head” Davila (18-10) scored a second round guillotine choke submission over Pete Spratt (21-18).  The official time of the submission was 3:49 in round two.
