There are a number of benefits that are awarded to a fighter who knocks out his opponent in 61 seconds, the very least of which is that typically the state regulatory commission does not suspended you from fighting for any length of time. This little tidbit is paying some dividend to Fort Worth’s Durwyn “The Prodigal Son” Lamb who is set to make his professional mixed martial arts debut November 6 on the River City MMA Battle in San Antonio, Texas. Lamb is coming off an awesome first round knockout of Damon Philips in a boxing match that took place just last week in Bastrop, Texas.
A highly respected trainer/fighter in the North Texas region, Lamb is no stranger to MMA having competed in kickboxing for years, not to mention his lifelong dedication to various other combative martial arts.
Set to face Lamb in his MMA debut is Joseph Hinojosa, who is coming of a brief hiatus from the sport. The two will mix it up in the cage on the Kick Ass Fighting River City MMA Battle which will take place at the Municipal Auditorium in San Antonio. Adding to what is surely going to be an explosive atmosphere is the fact that the fight card will be available online via PPV on www.ExtremeTvNetwork.com.
