Oak Cliff’s prized pugilist, the undefeated Roberto Marroquin retained his unblemished professional record with a dominating unanimous decision victory over Gilberto Leon. The bout took place Saturday night on the undercard of the Brandon Rios-Miguel Acosta bout at the Palms Resort and Casino.
Marroquin won the eight round affair with scores of 78-74, 77-75, and 77-75. With the win Marroquin improves his record to 19-0 with 14 KOs; Leon falls to 28-9-3 in defeat.
