Following the critical success of XKO 9, Xtreme Knockout is set to deliver another dose of professional MMA action to the fight-starved fan base here in North Texas. XKO, who notched North Texas Fisticuffs “2010 MMA Promoter of the Year,” recently announced the fight card for their April 9th card. The most notable, and exciting, aspect of XKO 10 will be without a doubt the fact that there will be two title fights headlining the night.
Headlining the card will be current XKO lightweight champion Chris Jones (5-1) defending his title against the always dangerous Chris Pecero (3-1). In the co-featured bout of the night, Douglas Frey (9-4) will battle Steven Peterson (3-1) for the vacant XKO bantamweight title. XKO 10 will also mark the XKO debut of former UFC fighter Jake Rosholt who will take on grizzled veteran Brandon McDowell.
The complete announced card is as follows, but as you knows, is subject to change:
Frank Ortega 4-4 pro vs Alex Russ 2-0
Randy Villarreal 4-3 pro vs Mike Sierra 3-3 pro
Roy Spoon 5-3 pro vs Brandon Smith 4-0 pro
