Two of North Texas’ most accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners earned gold medals at this year’s 2012 IBJJ PAN Jiu-Jitsu Championships talking place this past weekend in Irvine, CA.
The great Bruno Bastos, the man many claim is responsable for the spread of the Nova Uniao BJJ banner here in North Texas, took the gold medal in the Super Heavy Black Belt Masters Division.
In addtion, Arlington’s Daniel Alvarez (AlvarezBJJ.com) took home the gold medal in the black belt Senior Light-Feather Division.
