A night of MMA action was enjoyed by a very vocal crowd of fight fans as Legacy Fighting Championship brought the first ever professional fight card to the Allen Events Center on Friday night.

In the night's main event Will Campuzano captured the inaugural Legacy Fighting Championship flyweight title with a second round TKO over Jimmy Flick.  Early on it was Flick who established dominance by using his patented wrestling acumen to stuff the attacks of Campuzano.  However, Campuzano was able to rebound in the second round and after flooring Flick with a hard knee strike he was able to close out the fight behind some hard punches from the mount.  The official time of he stoppage was at the  0:26 mark round two.

in the evening's co-main event Matt Hobar and Steven Peterson engaged in a battle for the ages trading leather and submission attempts throughout the three round contest.  With tangible animosity heavy in the air both fighters wasted no time in ramping up the action from the opening bell.  It was a closely contested battle but the fight may have been swayed in the third round when Peterson was docked a point for an illegal kick while Hobar was down. In the end it was Gobar who walked away with a majority decision behind scores of 29-27, 29-27,and 28-28.

Chas Skelly used his exemplary wrestling ability to control and dominate a game Rey Trujillo. Eli Tamez was awarded a TKO victory in a somewhat anticlimactic fashion when  Torres was unable to continue with the fight after separating his shoulder in the opening round.  Torres injured the shoulder during some heavy grappling against Tamez in the opening round and his corner was forced to throw in the towel at the start of the second round.

Derrick Krantz was able to withstand the early charges of Charles Byrd before taking the fight to the ground and securing a rear naked choke submission to win the bout. The official time of the submission victory was 3:02 in the opening round.
