Dallas-based boxer Tony Mack has been on a tear as of late in his profession boxing career. The former amateur boxing standout has quickly amassed an unblemished professional record of 7-0 with three wins coming by way of knockout. It’s an impressive feat given that Mack has only been a professional for less than a year.
However, despite his fighting career still being in its infancy the merits of Mack have resonated loud and clear throughout the boxing community. This fact was further bolstered by Mack’s 2nd round knockout of Curtis Howell this past April to capture the Texas super middleweight title. A subsequent victory last month has Mack’s name buzzing amongst fans of the sweet science.
On August 10, Mack will return to the ring as he headlines the J&G Boxing Promotions “The Fights at Fair Park II,” which take place at the Fair Park Coliseum in Dallas. No opponent has been officially announced as of yet.
In addition to Mack, the card will feature a bevy of Dallas-Fort Worth area talent including: De Anthony Bonner (3-1 1KO), super lightweight James Burns (1-2 1KO), super welterweight Juan Carlos De Leon (1-2), middleweight Chris Jones (1-4 1KO), Ryan Mar (debut), middleweight Corey Richards (1-0-1), and welterweight Jonathon Steele, a TCU student who is making his pro debut. Also making his professional debut on The Fights at Fair Park II is Kenny Grammer from Wichita Falls, Texas who has been making waves sparring one of the area’s top professionals.
