Chop Shop’s Chris Gutierrez has had a remarkable two year run in the cage going 6-0 since 2014. As one of North Texas’ most promising young fighters it was all but a foregone conclusion that eventually Gutierrez would be signed to one of the bigger national promotions.
This came to fruition this week as Gutierrez announced that he has signed a four-fight contract with Las Vegas based World Series of Fighting. Featuring some legitimate MMA stars like former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields along with a national broadcast deal with NBC Sports signing with the WSOF is sure to boost Gutierrez’s profile.
Gutierrez’s WSOF debut has not yet been announced.
