Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants has this quote from Marian Gaborik on his return to Minnesota tonight…
“I’ve had a lot of fun over the years there,” Gaborik said. “It’s going to be definitely something special so I just need to get ready for that game. Maybe I’ll be a little nervous or it might be a little emotional but it has to happen at some point. I’m excited to play there and hopefully we’ll have a much better game than tonight.”
Derek Boogaard will also make his return to Minny tonight.
…hoping Gaborik doesn’t get caught up in the emotion and just plays his game.
Gross also tweets that the NHL is not expected to take any action on Ruslan Fedotenko for his cross check to Duchene’s head last night.
