Biron, Del Zotto In; Eminger Out; Drury Gets Knee Drained (Updated)

Update, 12:19 p.m.:
Tortorella says reason for Eminger scratch is that Rangers are committed to youth and trying to develop Del Zotto.

…got to be honest, I’m actually ok with that excuse. Although Eminger is only 26.

…and if you remember at the beginning of the season the defensive pairings for today’s game is pretty much what we were all asking for.

Here’s John Tortorella’s pre-game presser where he announces Steve Eminger will be a scratch for a third straight game and Marty Biron will be in goal courtesy of the Blueshirts Blog…

…absolutely shocked that Eminger is a scratch again. Wonder if he’s injured. No way Del Zotto has earned playing time.

Andrew Gross reports that Drury had fluid drained from his knee.

…maybe he does have knee issues.
