In his look at the Eastern Conference playoff picture, Greg Wyshynski at Puck Daddy tells us that according to Sports Club Stats the Rangers have a 98.3% chance of getting into the playoffs.
They have a 33% chance of finishing in 7th and a 25% chance of 8th.
Carolina’s tragic number is 10.
Wyshyski also says that Hockey-Reference.com has the Rangers playoff chance at 99%.
…why am I more caught up with the 1.7% chance they don’t make it rather than the over 98% chance they do?
…guess I wouldn’t be a Rangers fan if I wasn’t.
