– G Henrik Lundqvist: Signed through 2013-14.
– G Martin Biron: Signed through next season.
– G Chad Johnson: Restricted free agent ($850,000 this season). Needs more AHL seasoning
– D Bryan McCabe: Unrestricted free agent ($5.75 million). Not likely to return
– D Marc Staal: Signed through 2014-15
– D Dan Girardi: Signed through 2013-14
– D Matt Gilroy: RFA ($1.75 million). May have earned another look with playoff showing
– D Ryan McDonagh: Signed through 2012-13
– D Steve Eminger: UFA. Not likely to return
– D Mike Sauer: RFA ($500,000). Surprise find this season
– RW Marian Gaborik: Signed through 2013-14. Rumblings he could be trade bait but Rangers would be selling low on one of their more valuable commodities
– C Chris Drury: Signed through 2011-12.
– LW Wojtek Wolski: Signed through 2011-12. Not likely to be any takers for his $3.8 million salary.
– LW Alex Frolov: UFA ($3 million). Not likely to return
– LW Vinny Prospal: UFA ($1.4 million). Not likely to return
– RW Ryan Callahan: RFA ($2.3 million). Captain-in-waiting
– LW Sean Avery: Signed through 2011-12. Can he and Tortorella co-exist for one more season?
– LW Brandon Dubinsky: RFA ($1.85 million). Will these negotiations be smoother than two summers ago?
– RW Mats Zuccarello: Signed through 2011-12.
– LW Derek Boogaard: Signed through 2013-14. Three more seasons on a deal for a player Tortorella had no use for.
– LW Ruslan Fedotenko: UFA ($1 million). Great signing off a tryout, will likely want more.
– C Erik Christensen: Signed through 2011-12. Tortorella’s patience with him has probably expired
– C Derek Stepan: Signed through 2012-13
– C Artem Anisimov: RFA ($821,000).
– RW Brandon Prust: Signed through 2011-12.
– C Brian Boyle: RFA ($525,000).
Other UFAs of note: C Todd White ($2.375 million). Gone; C Chad Kolarik ($550,000), RW Jeremy Williams ($515,000).
Other RFAs of note: D Pavel Valentenko ($850,000), RW Dale Weise ($700,000), Brodie Dupont ($500,000).
…also don’t forget that Wade Redden’s contract comes back on the books during the offseason.
