Eminger Likely Back in the Fold; Dubi Headed for Arbitration

Jesse Spector at the Blueshirts Blog says the hold up with Dubinsky is years not money.

Meanwhile, Callahan’s agent Agent Steve Bartlett says that while he remains hopeful that a deal can be struck, he understands that trying to avoid arbitration with Dubinsky is a higher priority because of the timing of it all. “There’s a pecking order,” he said.

…glad to see Eminger could be back. I thought he had a real solid first season with the Rangers and will be a real nice 6th or 7th defenseman giving the Rangers some veteran presence on the blueline.

…you just knew it wasn’t going to be easy with Dubinsky. Just crossing my fingers that something gets done. Dubi still two years away from UFA so not completely devastating if he goes to arbitration but I’d like to see a long term contract ironed out before hand.
