The Big Ten tournament is a massive tournament with big march madness complications.
While the Big Ten currently only has three teams in the top-25, they do have 10 teams with 17+ wins.
The Big Ten boasts one of the biggest surprises in college basketball in the Northwestern Wildcats. They currently sit second in the Big Ten and have entered the top 25 as they are ranked 21st in the country. The Wildcats are 11-6 in the Big Ten and 20-8 overall.
The Big Ten has a bunch of teams that are either on the bubble or are desperately trying to earn a higher seed in the national tournament.
Big Ten Conference Standings
With the 13-5 record in Big Ten play, Purdue has cemented itself as the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament.
The Boilermakers will earn the top seed in the Big Ten Conference Tournament, but after that, the standings are crowded at the top.
Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, and Northwestern are all fighting for the No. 2 seed down the stretch. All four teams are tied for second place in the Big Ten standings with an 11-7 conference record. Meanwhile, Illinois and Iowa aren’t far behind with a 10-8 overall mark in conference play.
