The Rangers play in Vancouver tomorrow night and as Dave Lozo at NHL.com reports it’s been awhile since the Blueshirts last won in the great Northwest.
Wayne Gretzky scored his 50th NHL hat trick in that game against the Mark Messier led Canucks on October 11, 1997. The Rangers won 6-3.
…a lot of that has to do with the unbalanced schedule the NHL has gone with so the Rangers don’t play in Vancouver every year, but still that’s a long ass time ago.
Looks like Ryan Kesler (41g, 32a last season) has decided that tomorrow would be a great time for his return from off season hip surgery. Not going to help the Rangers chances of getting off the schnide.
