– Ryan Kesler will make his season debut tonight after undergoing surgery in July to repair a torn hip labrum – his second hip surgery in four years. Kesler had 41g, 32a last season.

– After opening the season 3-for-18 on the power play, the Canucks were 2-for-2 in their 4-3 win over Edmonton on Saturday.

– The Canucks have won nine of the last 11 against the Rangers.

– Both Daniel and Herik Sedin have started the season with 2g and 5a in five games.

– The Canucks big off-season free agent signee Marco Sturm is scoreless with a -4 to start the season.

– Luongo, who has allowed 11 goals in three starts this season, is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA in two starts against the Rangers since joining Vancouver in 2006, but both of those were in 2008.
