The Rangers are 6-1-1 at Madison Square Garden which is their best home start since starting 1992-93 season with a 7-1-1 mark.
The last two years the Rangers have gone 18-17-6 and 20-17-4 at home respectively.
“We’re coming out and competing and not trying to be too flashy on home ice,” captain Ryan Callahan said to Andrew Gross at Rangers Rants. “We want to play the same style and not try to do too much. It’s contagious. Once you start winning at home, it spills over.”
…if you want to be an elite team in the NHL you have to be tough beat at home and right now the Rangers are doing that.
…btw, I was at their only regulation loss at home. Can you say mush?
