With a Rangers victory over the Stars combined with a Flyers loss to the Capitals, the Blueshirts could find themselves sitting on top of the Atlantic Division by the end of the night.
…i don’t think even the most optimistic Rangers fan could have imagined the Blueshirts would be in this position at the beginning of the year. Add in the Staal, Sauer and Rupp injures and the Rangers have the makings of a remarkable first two months of the season.
…and they’ll have a game in hand on the Flyers as well as three on the Penguins who are also in action tonight. When was the last time the Rangers had games in han on anyone?
