In a piece on MSG pulling its programming from Time Warner, Bob Raissman at the Daily News says the fans will pay no matter who comes out on top…
“Someone’s got to pay the freight — you. If MSG can get a substantial increase in subscriber fees from TWC it will eventually be passed down to all TWC customers in the form of increased monthly bills. There’s nothing unusual about this. Like we said, its happened before. Business as usual. The stalemate will continue until one side is sufficiently embarrassed and some politician, looking to play hero, sticks his beak in and brokers a deal.”
…this whole situation is just disgusting. It’s never about what’s good for the fan it’s all about the rich getting richer. I truly feel for all the Rangers fans who have been reduced to watching live streams to watch their beloved Rangers.
