Blueshirts United spoke with Michael Del Zotto about the Rangers having a target on their back…
“It’s definitely different with every team coming in wanting to beat you,” admitted Michael Del Zotto. “It’s a different feeling from what we have been used to the last couple of years, squeaking into the playoffs. But it’s a great feeling. It’s just that much more pressure for us each night, and we know we have to be ready, we can’t have any letdowns because every team is bringing their best when they play us.”
Del Zotto also discussed the positive influence the Garden crowd has had on their 12-3-2 home record.
It doesn’t get any easier for the Blueshirts as they play four games in the next six nights.
…pretty awesome to think that teams are now gunning for our New York Rangers. Torts has done a masterful job of using the hunted analogy to his advantage as the team seems very aware that opponents will be giving their best effort and that only hard work on every shift will prolong their success.
