Senators 3, Rangers 0

4

The New York Rangers (27-10-4) lost to the Ottawa Senators (24-15-6) by the score of 3-0, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…as I said earlier today, I didn’t have a good feeling about this one. Ottawa has lots of team speed which seems to give the Rangers problems (see Toronto). Didn’t think the Rangers played all that bad, but Anderson was tremendous for the Senators. Not concerned, Rangers have been able to bounce back after a stinker all year, so I expect nothing but a solid effort Saturday night in Toronto.

…Hagelin-Boyle-Fedotenko was the Rangers best offensive line for he second game in a row. Probably why they only have one regulation goal combined in those games.

…with how inept the Rangers power play has been lately, it’s amazing it took this long before it burned them.

…looks like the tub did Wolski some good as he had some jump in his step tonight. Would like to see him back in the line-up Saturday whether Dubinsky comes back or not.

…Rangers could have used Avery tonight. Just sayin’.

…second straight game with zero shots on goal for AA. Add in a terrible turnover that leads to Ottawa’s first goal and you have all the makings of a benching. Wonder how Wolski would look on a line with Gabby & Stepan.

…man Boyle can’t buy a goal.

…Richards has zero points in the two games since being dumped by Olivia Munn.

…off tomorrow, then a tough road back-to-back this weekend in Toronto and Montreal.
