Unfortunately, bad news continues for Sauer (concussion), who has suffered a setback and has been shutdown for several days.

Despite Eminger discarding the non-contact jersey, Zipay notes that the Rangers defenseman is still a couple of weeks away.

Steve Zipay reports good news from this morning’s practice as Ryan McDonagh is skating with the team.

Zipay also says that Steve Eminger is practicing without a non-contact jersey for the first time since injuring his shoulder a month and a half ago.
In potentially bad injury news, Zipay notes that Michale Sauer is not participating in practice again. This is the third straight practice that he has not joined his teammates.
Over the weekend, John Tortorella said Sauer has not had a setback.
…if Sauer’s not out there again, you have to assume, contrary to what Torts says, that he has in fact had a setback.
