The WHL announced today that they have named Michael St. Croix (2011 – 4th) “Player of the Week” after he collected 10 points, scoring six goals and four assists to go with a +7 rating, in three games over the past week helping the Oil Kings to a 3-0-0-0 record.
As I posted yesterday, St. Croix had a five point (3g, 2a) performance Saturday night.
This was the second time this season St. Croix was named “Player of the Week.”
…over the weekend I suggested that St. Croix was a sleeper prospect, but if he keeps this up he’ll mentioned in the same sentence as Kreider and Miller before we know it. This kid is the real deal.
H/T to Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park.
