Rangers 3, Blue Jackets 2, OT

The New York Rangers (38-14-5) defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets (17-35-7) by the score of 3-2 in overtime, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…Rangers prove again that no adversity is too large for this team to overcome. They just shrug off whatever obstacle is in their way and get the job done.

…why have a scoreboard clock if it’s not going to count. Bettman is lucky the Rangers won, because he would have had a lot of explaining to do.

…Del Zotto has had an amazing comeback season but tonight was the exclamation point.

…remember when Richards and Anisimov were struggling so mightily? Me neither.

…only Stepan’s second goal in the last 15 games. At least he’s making them count.

…sure Callahan’s constant forecheck and all around physical game were nice, but what impressed me the most was when he sent a message to Vermette after the Columbus forward gave Hank an extra poke after a save.

…unreal job by Garden crowd chanting “We Don’t Want Him” after Nash scored.

…i don’t care if it’s 5-on-4, 5-on-3, or a five-minute major the Rangers seriously need to start declining power plays.

…superior forecheck tonight. Usually leads to more offensive chances, but great job nonetheless.

…even when Gaborik doesn’t score he’s one of the best players on the ice.

…don’t know what to do with Dubi anymore as he blows an absolute wide open net.

…Rangers were actually out-hit and out-blocked shot.

…those undisciplined penalties probably would have hurt against a better team.

…off tomorrow then in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
