The Syracuse Post-Standard puts out a Big East media poll the day before Big East media day. They've continued the tradition this year. If they didn't, there wouldn't be a post about it now. The poll shows the clear divide in the elite part of the Big East and the rest.
Louisville receives a unanimous first place selection. Syracuse nearly sweeps the second place voting, as appears to be the case with Notre Dame. Cincinnati and Pitt are the last 2 teams before the drop off and jumble.
Here are the writers' Big East predictions (points were assigned with one for a 1st-place vote, two for a 2nd-place vote and so on):
