Greg Wyshynski at Puck Daddy reports that the CT Whale have left Sean Avery off their 22-man Clear Day roster meaning he will not be eligible to play for the remainer of the season or the playoffs.
Avery has played just five games since being waived and assigned to the Whale in December.
…no surprise here, this is just icing on the poop flavored cake for Avery.
…reports had the Calgary Flames and Florida Panthers interested in Avery at the trade deadline so I think he’ll end up in a pro camp next season. It will be up to him whether he wants to continue to play hockey or become a New York socialite.
