Morning Skate: Dubinsky Out; Biron In; Line-up Not Set

Steve Zipay at Newsday reports that Brandon Dubinsky (sinus issue) will not play tonight in Ottawa.

Dubinsky, who has stitches on the left side of his nose, said this to Zipay about possibly hurting his hand punching Ryan Scott’s helmet…

“I don’t know. I didn’t throw many, I took a lot.”

…at least he has a sense of humor about it.

…hope he heals up soon, because, despite the fact that he’s struggled all year, I think the Rangers are a better team with him in the line-up.

John Mitchell will likely be re-inserted into the line-up but Zipay notes that John Tortorella is unsure about tonight’s line-up.

…Torts could always bump Bickel up to forward and re-insert Stralman.

…i’d like to see Mitchell and Stralman back in the line-up with Eminger back in the press box.

Finally, Zipay says Marty Biron will get the start tonight.

…with the Rangers right back at it tomorrow night in Chicago you had to assume Biron would get one of these games. Although I’d rather see Lundqvist in there against the Eastern Conference team.
