Kreider, Boston College Win National Championship

Chris Kreider won his second National Championship in three years as Boston College defeated Ferris State 4-1 last night in Tampa.

Kreider was held scoreless, but did have six shots on goal.

Here’s video taken by friend of the blog Bryan of Kreider post game (second interview)…

So the question now is, will he sign with the Rangers for the playoffs?

Darren Dreger gives his thoughts on the likely scenario last night…

…big time congrats to Kreider, that’s a tremendous accomplishment. Anyone else worried he was going to get injured in the celebration pile-on?

…as I mentioned last night, I hope the Rangers don’t make the panic move of bringing Kreider in for the playoff run due to their recent struggles. That’s the absolute worst reason. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see Kreider wearing a Blueshirt asap, but not sure this is the best situation for him or the team. He has absolutely no knowledge of Torts’ system and do we really want him learning on the fly in the playoffs?
