Phil B’s Report

Phil B has the day one dirt.  Here’s his best bit:

LBs for now — The starting trio, as of the first day of camp, are Gary Brackett, Clint Session and Philip Wheeler. Don’t know what that means for Tyjuan Hagler and Freddy Keiaho, who both re-signed with the team as free agent…the insertion of Wheeler suggests the Colts would like to see him get that job. You remember Wheeler, the third-round pick out of Georgia Tech, long dreadlocks. Hard to miss a 6-2, 240-pound linebacker who moves as well as he does. After a year in training, mostly on special teams, he has the preseason to prove himself worthy of a starting job.
