Draft Express is currently pumping out their mock drafts for tomorrow night’s NBA draft. In the latest mock draft, they have Sean Kilpatick being drafted.
Draft Express has the second all time leading scorer in Cincinnati history going 58th overall to the San Antonio Spurs. This could be a tremendous fit because Kilpatrick can shoot, even though he probably would have to pick up his percentages a little more, he can play the point some, which could be an issue depending on who stays or leaves with the Spurs, and his defense was pretty solid. Not to mention that he’s a great teammate and seems like a good person.
Kilpatrick hadn’t gotten a ton of mock draft love until recently. His workouts seemed to go very well. Seth Davis at SI ran a piece where 6 scouts gave their opinions on various players. They had this to say about Killa:
Sean Kilpatrick, 6-4 guard, Cincinnati. “I don’t get why people are projecting him so low. The guy was the best player in that league. He’s strong as a bull, and he can play point guard.”
