Cincinnati kept it going as they pushed the conference win streak to 3 with a huge win over Tulane. Gunner Kiel played one play, throwing an interception on the opening play. He was replaced by Munchie Legaux, who went 16-24 for 211 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 INT. Legaux powered the offense pretty well in his return home to New Orleans.
The offense was fueled by the running attack. For the first time since 2003, the Bearcats had two running backs with over 100 yards. Mike Boone added to his team high total with 114 yards and a touchdown. Rod Moore broke out with a career best 124 yards.
In the passing game, Casey Gladney, Shaq Washington and Max Morrison all had touchdowns. Washington’s was pretty impressive.

Tulane put up nearly 400 yards on the Bearcats, but the defense was pretty steady when it came to getting Tulane off the field. The Green Wave were only 3 of 13 on third down and 0 for 2 on fourth. Tulane moved the ball a few times, but overall, the defense did a nice job.
It’s time for a bye before the game of the season against East Carolina. Bring on the Pirates.
