After 12 weeks of the NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks are one of the Super Bowl favorites. They are winning games thanks to an outstanding defense and an offense with just enough weapons to keep teams guessing. By now, all of the top fantasy football options from this team are owned. Here is a look at how the three best guys for Seattle have done individually during their 10-1 start.
Russell Wilson
Some think of him as a low risk quarterback who is smart with the football, but the fact of the matter is he is a pretty dangerous signal caller as well. Currently, he is a top eight fantasy football option at his position, and he has the fewest interceptions among those eight this season. He has put up double-digit fantasy points in all but one game this season, showing his consistency. He might not be able to put up a monster performance, but he is doing just fine.
Marshawn Lynch
Other than Jamaal Charles in Kansas City, there isn’t a better and more reliable runner in the game right now than Lynch. Fantasy football owners love the fact that he is playing off of fullback Michael Robinson very well right now. That has led to back-to-back monster games of over 100 yards on the ground, and then a two-touchdown performance against Minnesota. Coming off the bye week, he should be ready for these final five games of the year.
Seattle Defense/Special Teams
You know a team is all about defense first when this is the third-highest fantasy football option on the roster. Only the Chiefs have been better this season, and they could cool off at the end of this season. Losing Walter Thurmond might hurt them a little bit, but if they can get by New Orleans without one of their starting cornerbacks, they should recover nicely to close out the regular season.
