The first College Football Playoff committee rankings are out, and we finally have a fantastic slate of games coming up on Saturday. Last week I went 11-1, bringing my season record to 75-35. Here are the week ten picks.

Mississippi State 31, Missouri 3 – Tune in to find out whether Mizzou will score its first touchdown since the Truman administration.

North Carolina 34, Duke 27 – How are the Blue Devils going to be able to bounce back after the absolute travesty that robbed them against Miami last weekend?

Notre Dame 31, Pittsburgh 20 – Pitt was the only reason I didn’t go undefeated last weekend, so I don’t care that Brian Kelly has graduated to physically assaulting his assistants. Go Irish.

Clemson 45, Florida State 17 – Waiting for Florida State to lose each year is a long, draining, and frustrating process, but the payoff is always sweeter than Halloween.

Ole Miss 41, Arkansas 24 – Bret Bielema is 4-16 in SEC games, and this remains his best moment of the season.

Oklahoma State 61, TCU 60 – So begins the annual derailment of any playoff hopes the Big XII possesses.

UCLA 38, Oregon State 7 – The Beavers continued unmolested and unharmed down the path towards 2-10.

Nebraska 24, Michigan State 23 – I am the last one to believe in you, Mike Riley. You have no other supporters, except your boss, who is even more royally screwed than you are. Do not let me down again.

Utah 14, Washington 10 – Nothing like the explosive offense and quarterback haven that is the Pac 12.

Texas A&M 38, Auburn 23 – Auburn appears to be taking its own sweet time righting the ship, having now fallen to 4-4. Its only double-digit win this season came by two touchdowns over San Jose State.

LSU 20, Alabama 17 – This game is college football’s crown jewel each and every year.

Ohio State 45, Minnesota 21 – Gophers head coach Jerry Kill retired last week due to his ongoing seizures. Kill exits as one of the most well-liked and well-respected men in the sport. Hopefully he gets well soon and continues to enjoy football in some capacity.

Oregon 41, California 34 – Vernon Adams will win the Heisman.

USC 45, Arizona 14 – Rich Rodriguez returning to West Virginia makes so much sense that he’ll probably go to Virginia Tech.
