Who is the Patriots’ MVP: Brady or Gronk?

Raj: This is a really tough question because both are so valuable to the Pats. But in the end, I would still say Brady is more valuable. The Pats can still win without Gronk, it would just be really difficult. They cannot win at all without Brady. That’s why I still think Brady is more valuable. Not to mention that he is the leader of this team. There would be a huge ripple in the locker room if TB12 wasn’t on the field.

Rick: The more valuable Patriot to me is Rob Gronkowski. While both players have been extremely valuable to the organization over the years, we saw this offense take a hit without Gronk both in the early stages of this season and in the AFC Championship Game when Brady was throwing to Austin Collie and Matthew Slater. Even without Gronk last week, New England couldn’t find the end zone. He is a matchup nightmare for opponents and while Edelman and Lafell can make plays, it’s a lot easier to game plan for New England.

Kyle: Gronk, at this moment, is more valuable. He makes everybody better because he taks so much of the defensive attention. The argument for Brady used to be the same thing; however, TB12 has had struggles with his accuracy as the year has droned on. Gronk has gotten better and is the biggest offensive X factor on the playoffs.

Derek: I can’t believe I am saying this, but I have to go with Rob Gronkowski.  Without either player, the Patriots’ Super Bowl hopes are slim.  However, if I had to choose one, I’d rather roll the dice with Jimmy Garoppolo throwing to Gronk, Edelman, and LaFell, than Tom Brady trying to get by making passes to Tim Wright and Hooman.   Without Gronkowski on the field, the Patriots’ offense seems to fall apart.  He is so vital in the blocking game and the attention he draws when he goes out as a receiver opens up the game for the rest of his teammates to succeed.

Just give me three more games, Gronk…
