Blatche has had some legal troubles in the past, hopefully this new incident doesn't revert him back to the Andray Blatche of his Wizards days |
Nets' reserve big-man Andray Blatche has had his fair share of run-ins with the law during his relatively brief NBA career, with all of those legal dust-ups occuring when he was a member of the Washington Wizards. He was the victim of a carjacking, fined for participating in former teammate Gilbert Arenas' mocking of Arenas' prior gun incident, when he brought a firearm into the team's locker room, and was even charged with soliticing a prostitute back in 2007. Now, the 6-11 forward has been linked to a sexual assault attack that allegedly happened in the Nets' team hotel, the Four Seasons, in Philadelphia last night.
The report describes how Blatche was with a group of people in a room at the hotel Monday night, a group which included a highly intoxicated woman who was reportedly raped by someone in the group.
As of now, Blatche has only been questioned by Philly police and will not be charged with any wrongdoing in the matter. He looks to be in the lineup for tonight's game between the 76ers and the Nets.
