Game 42 Preview: Brooklyn Nets (25-16) at Minnesota Timberwolves (17-21)
After breaking his hand recently, Kevin Love won't be in the lineup for the Wolves against the Nets tonight. Just like in their first meeting

When: 8:00 PM; Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013

Where: Target Center; Minneapolis, MN

TV: YES Network

Gonna keep it short today. The Wolves are ridiculously injured right now and are reeling, having lose six of their last seven games. Most recently, they blew an 18-point lead to the Hawks on Monday afternoon en route to a brutal loss. As we all know well, the Nets are coming off a great MLK Day win over the hated Knicks, evening the season series between the two at two games apiece. Remember, though, the Wolves beat the Nets back in November–without Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio–after Brooklyn blew a 20-point+ lead at the Barclays Center.

Sidenote: The Nets are 9-1 in 2013 and 11-2 since firing Avery Johnson and bringing in P.J. Carlesimo.

Probable Lineups

BKN- D-Will (PG), Johnson (SG), Wallace (SF), Evans (PF), Lopez (C)

MIN- Rubio (PG), Ridnour (SG), Kirilenko (SF), Derrick Williams (PF),Stiemsma (C)

Final Thoughts

The T-Wolves are banged-up and playing terrible basketball right now. The Nets cannot lose to them tonight at all costs.
