Game 57 Preview: Memphis Grizzlies (36-18) at Brooklyn Nets (33-23)
The Grizzlies will look much different tonight than they did back in their win over the Nets in Memphis  on January 25th as since then, they dealt star small forward Rudy Gay to Toronto in a three-team deal that netted then Tayshaun Prince, along with Ed Davis and Austin Daye

When: 7:00 PM: Sunday, February 24th, 2013

Where: Barclays Center; Brooklyn, NY

TV: YES Network/ESPN

Without Joe Johnson (ankle) and Jerry Stackhouse (rest) for yet another tough game against a god Southwest Division opponent, the Nets will attempt to salvage their season series vs the Grizzlies tonight at the Barclays Center. Back on the 25th of January (almost a month ago), this Memphis team absolutely crushed an overmatched Nets squad that was outplayed in every imaginable aspect of the game.

However, as I alluded to in the picture caption above, the Grizzlies look a lot different now than they did a month ago as (former) franchise cornerstone Rudy Gay has moved on to Toronto and Tayshaun Prince, a Pistons staple for seemingly forever, has joined the team in his stead, along with former Raptor Ed Davis and ex-Piston Austin Daye. Even with the loss of a stud like Gay, the Grizzlies are riding a six-game winning streak at the moment so they couldn't be coming to Brooklyn at a better time, as it appears they are finally gelling as a cohesive unit after that trade.

Probable Lineups

MEM- Conley Jr. (PG), Allen (SG), Prince (SF), Randolph (PF), Gasol (C)

BKN- Williams (PG), Watson (SG), Wallace (SF), Evans (PF), Lopez (C)

Final Thoughts

Without Joe, and facing the Grizzlies, I'm not expecting much from tonight's game. Look for a tough Nets effort  , but one that will fall futile after the athletic Grizz enforce their style of play on this game.
