Clippers unleashed this crazy dunk over him. He's a game-time decision for this evening's game with a sprained ankle and probably wants to get back on the court as soon as possible to avenge that brutal posterization he received as a result of 1/2 of the Clippers' Lob City tandem of Blake Griffin and Jordan

The Nets look to get back on the winning track, and possibly tie up the Knicks at the top of the Atlantic Division–after blowing a great chance yesterday vs the Hawks–tonight in Auburn Hills vs the Detroit Pistons, a team that hasn't won a game yet in March and is riding an eight-game losing streak. Most recently, the Pistons fell on Saturday night in Portland to the Trail Blazers, in a game they gave away after gaining a six-point first quarter lead.

Brooklyn isn't feeling much better right now, as last night's failure vs Atlanta brought up serious questions about this team and made people, including me, wonder if they really have it in them to be a serious playoff contender in the Eastern Conference. Tonight represents another chance for the Nets to right the ship and get back to winning, something they will have to do a lot in the last month of this season if they want to supercede the Knicks and win the Atlantic.

Probable Lineups

BKN- Williams (PG), Johnson (SG), Wallace (SF), Evans (PF), Lopez (C)

DET- Calderon (PG), Knight (SG), Singler (SF), Jerebko (PF), Drummond (C)

Final Thoughts

If the Nets snap Detroit's losing streak tonight, I think it's time we start to wonder about the commitment of this team and if it, as currently set up, could possibly even make noise in the postseason, or even regular season for that matter, in the future. Yeah, not too bright an outlook right now.
