After not winning either Game 1 or Game 2 in Miami, the Nets were down 0-2 heading into Saturday's Game 3 at the Barclays Center. That situation made that game a must-win for the Nets. Fortunately, they treated it as such, and won going away over the Heat, as Brooklyn knocked down a single-game playoff franchise record 15 threes (15-for-25, good for 60%) to put Miami away.

Joe Johnson hit five long balls and Mirza Teletovic had four of his own, as the Nets' sharpshooters lived up to their job descriptions. The first half of the game was a close, and the Nets were up by only two points at halftime. However, they won the third quarter by 12 points to break the game wide open, and would be up by 20 at one points in the final quarter. Just a good overall performance from the Nets, who had six players in double digits in points and won the rebounding battle by 16.

Probable Lineups

MIA- Mario Chalmers (PG), Dwyane Wade (SG), LeBron James (SF), Shane Battier (PF), Chris Bosh (C)

BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Shaun Livingston (SG), Joe Johnson (SF), Paul Pierce (PF), Kevin Garnett (C)

Final Thoughts

If the Nets win this game, they’ll have taken two straight from the Heat and will have tied this series up at two games apiece. If not, they’ll be down 3-1 with a chance to be eliminated on Wednesday night in Miami. I’ll take option 1, please.]]>
