Byron Westbrook and seven other rookies were signed by the Washington Redskins following the team’s three day rookie mini-camp at the end of April. Westbrook is a D.C. native and brother Philadelphia Eagle star Brian Westbrook. He is no relation to Michael Westbrook (I had to throw that in.). He played cornerback for the Salisbury State Seagulls. Also signed were

Redskins.com announced the release of six players to make room for the newcomers: tight end Zach Hilton, wide receivers Adrian Madise and Deyon Williams, defensive tackle Vaka Manupuna and defensive backs Daniel Francis and Jerrell Pippins.
