Game 14 Preview: Brooklyn Nets (5-8) at Philadelphia 76ers (0-14)

When: 7:00 PM EST; Wednesday, November 26th, 2014

Where: Wells Fargo Center; Philadelphia, PA

TV: YES Network

The 2009-10 New Jersey Nets needed 19 games in order to win their first one. The 2014-15 Philadelphia 76ers have yet to win their first game, as they’re 0-14 with no end in sight. That is, unless they manage to beat the Nets tonight in Philly.

Brooklyn surely wouldn’t mind helping the 76ers inch closer to taking the record of worst start in NBA history by beating them on Wednesday. The Nets are three games under .500 after a Saturday loss in San Antonio, their 12th straight on the road against the defending champs.

After this game, the Nets don’t play until Sunday at home against the Bulls (on this writer’s birthday, nonetheless) so it’s that much more important they get a feel-good win tonight.

Probable Lineups

BKN- Deron Williams (PG), Joe Johnson (SG), Bojan Bogdanovic (SF), Kevin Garnett (PF), Brook Lopez (C)

PHI- Michael Carter-Williams (PG), Tony Wroten (SG), Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (SF), Brandon Davies (PF), Henry Sims (C)

Final Thoughts

The 76ers stink and may be one of the worst teams in league history. The Nets cannot lose to them.
