John Beck, Boy Quarterback: Here’s a Throw-By-Throw Breakdown by Blogging the BEast

Got a note from Jimmy Kempsky, the talent behind Blogging The Beast, pointing me to his throw-by-throw break down of John Beck’s first start against the Philadelphia Eagles (2007). As Jimmy put it, it’s not pretty. But Beck showed me enough to suggest he could exceed my low expectations of him. More to the point, he showed good mobility against the Eagles, an accomplishment against a Jim Johnson defense.

I can see why Mike Shanahan is intrigued.

I won’t steal Jimmy’s thunder. Instead, I encourage you to follow the link to his review: Is Mike Shanahan truly serious that John Beck could be the redskins 2011 starting quarterback?

Go take a look. We’ll be here when you get back.
