It didn't make the list as one of those Top 5 Questions going into training camp, but news that Alfred Morris is kept his 1991 Mazda came as a relief to football superstitious me.
Morris finished his rookie campaign as the No. 2 rusher in yards and rushing touchdowns. Fans are convinced that his Mazda, dubbed "Bentley" by teammates, has something to do with it. Morris comes off as a very humble guy. The Bentleymobile is a reflection of that.
Mazda must be impressed by that. They are refurbishing the car for Morris, though he says it will not look much different. Morris is grossly underpaid as a sixth-round Draft pick. That is a hint to the Redskins to pay this man what he is worth as soon as the CBA allows.
That is a headache for GM Bruce Allen. He has to figure out how to extend contracts both Morris and Robert Griffin III at the same time without blowing the salary cap. Both deals will be costly and a bargain at the same time as long as the players are healthy. And it has to get done.
Adam Carriker and Keenan Robinson OUT
It's the second most prominent injured knee on the team. DE Adam Carriker missed a significant part of last season due to his right knee injury. The Redskins announced that Carriker will undergo a third surgery on the knee that will keep him out of action until December.
I don't see how Carriker avoids the Injured Reserve list again or an outright release. It took a long time for the Redskins to release RT Jammal Brown, so it is conceivable that Washington carries Carriker on IR for another year.
Roster implix of Carriker relapse: Jenkins lock starter, Baker to DE and lock roster, Merling/Brace in play at DE, Neild back in play at NT.

What's with the pec muscles? Second-year linebacker Keenan Robinson suffered a tear to his right pectoral muscle on the first day of training camp. He lost five games last season because of a tear in his left pectoral muscle. Robinson will miss three to five months in recovery and is sure to join Adam Carriker on the IR list.
We saw Robinson as an eventual replacement of London Fletcher. No one can truly replace Fletch. You follow him. Robinson's injury upsets for awhile the 'Skins succession plan for Fletcher.
OLB Brian Orakpo is a full go after suffering his second tear of a pectoral muscle last season. Take care of yourself, Rak.
CB Josh Wilson was briefly on the Physically Unable to Perform list then cleared to play a few hours later.
Redskins fans turn out for RGIII
They cheered him when he entered the field. They cheered him when he jogged. They cheered him took snaps. Fans cheered Robert Griffin III for whatever he did.
Training Camp was awesome yesterday. THE REDSKIN FANS ARE AWESOME AND ON BEHALF OF MY SON I THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT.

Over 10,000 fans showed up for the first day of Redskins training camp at the Bon Secours Redskins Training Camp facility in Richmond. Does it bother anyone else that that a medical facility bought the naming rights to the new digs?
One minute you are there, next minute you are not
The Redskins released safeties Jordan Bernstine and Devin Holland and signed journeymen DBs Ryan Mouton and Jose Gumbs. You see a lot of that during training camp.
