Predictions:
Draft Steals in ranked order – David Amerson, Chase Minifield (the sort-of rookie this year) and Brandon Jenkins. The crystal ball is foggy on Rambo. Looks like he'll be great in pass protection and a work in progress throughout the year against the run. He could end up a tie with Jenkins if things go well.
Top potential season spoilers in order – injuries, complacency, offensive line pass protection especially at Right Tackle, poor run defense against beast running backs, offensive line depth, middle linebacker depth, lack of power running back depth (better a bruiser than a Royster).
Biggest disappointment – Kirk Cousins inconsistent performances, Jarvis Jenkins still not breaking out, offensive rookies taking a long time to produce, patches of bald spots on Redskins' fans heads from hair pulling if Gomes makes the roster, if Polumbus starts the whole season at Right Tackle, from watching RG3 run and take brutal shots.
Most dramatically improved from last year, in order – secondary (led by Amerson, Minifield, Hall in the slot, Merriweather, Rambo/Pugh), pass rush (almost everyone), wide receivers (Morgan, Hankerson, Robinson).
Most likely to ride the pine as inactive until after the bye week – Jordan Reed, Chris Thompson (if he makes the team – it was a fellow shortie Thomas that caused the fumble, still not proven that the NFL is too big for him), Josh LaRibeus.
Most memorable event of the season – with the Cowboys evaporating offensive line and the Redskins soon to be nasty pass rush, the Tony Romo piñata game. Second runner up: there will be some serious air pyrotechnic moments with the improved wide receiver corps and improved QB work this season.
Redskins likely record – 10 – 6, playoff berth, knocked out of the playoffs by NFC championship game. With a lot of constant improvement, a lot of luck against injuries and the opposite with the Seahawks, Packers, 49ers, and a surprise team or two, perhaps more. It's possible the Redskins shine early and upset the Packers at Green Bay and then fade down their very long and difficult schedule after the bye week.
