THE BIG CONCERN . . .

The Colts spent the offseason shoring up the defensive tackle position, selecting Fili Moala in the second round of the NFL Draft, selecting Terrance Taylor in the fourth round and re-signing Ed Johnson shortly after the draft. Moala missed practice Thursday and hasn’t been a huge part of the defensive tackle rotation in preseason, Taylor was released after the preseason, and Johnson will miss Sunday’s game serving a one-game suspension. As a result, the Colts’ defensive-tackle position will be largely a three-man rotation featuring second-year veteran Antonio Johnson, third-year veteran Dan Muir and second-year veteran Eric Foster. The Colts finished 31st in the NFL in rushing last season and have traditionally had some troubles stopping the Jaguars running attack. Can they stop Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew? “We know they’re going to try to run the ball,” Brock said. “That’s what they do. They run the ball. We have to control that line of scrimmage. Guys have to step up. We have confidence guys will step up. Everybody has to step in. Everybody has to help each other out and we have to work together as a team.”
