This spring, the Notre Dame football team has been doing a lot of learning and a lot of evolving. The biggest thing, however, has been that these practices are really one long audition for Brian Kelly’s plans come summer/fall.
Players are fighting for position on both sides of the ball, and from what I have seen so far- the competition is tight in a few areas. The most wide open has seemed to be along the offensive line and with the wide receivers. That’s not to say that a few other positions aren’t up for grabs- but those two groupings look to be the most fluid.
