New 11W: Sources: Tressel Asks For, Receives 5 Game Suspension http://11w.rs/fk71la
By now, most of you know that Jim Tressel will be suspended for the first 5 games of the 2011 season. Considering that the players involved in this incident already have been suspended for the first 5 games- this only makes sense.
For Irish fans, this news has the possibility of having huge implications. Recruiting is where this suspension of Tressel could help the Irish. Every year, Notre Dame and Ohio State battle for a lot of the same players. Could this new development help the Irish with a couple of kids? I’m not exactly sure, bit it sure as hell doesn’t hurt.
This is a development that should be watched very closely by Irish fans.
